Key Responsibilities:
This position requires a candidate to interact directly with senior level management and clients. As part of the WattsWorth team they will integrate with coworkers to provide peers with useful market intelligence, research, and analytics. We require a candidate that is creative and can continually develop tools, ideas, and analytical methods that the company can use to better service its client base as well as attract new clients.
As a member of the WattsWorth Analysis team the successful candidate will be required to perform the following duties:
• Complete weekly market analysis for distribution to clients
• Create and assemble regular reports to clients of a daily, weekly, and monthly nature
• Develop and maintain relationships with peers, clients, and suppliers
• Must be able to learn and understand complexities within the energy market
• Assist in the completion of RFPs as required
• Additional duties may arise
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
• University Degree in either Business / Economics / Accounting / Engineering
• 0-3 years of industry experience
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (including Power BI)
• Demonstrated capability in technical/business writing
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively complete tasks while meeting strict timelines
• Strong attention to detail and demonstrated analytic problem solving
• Entrepreneurial and self-starting attitude with an ability to work independently
• Demonstrated presentation skills
• Ability to work flexible hours with possibility of occasional overnight travel to client destinations
• Must have a valid driver’s license
Additional Qualifications for this position but not required include:
• Knowledge of SQL Server, MySQL, and other similar databases
• CEM designation considered an asset
• Technical and/or service-oriented background in facilities management, energy management systems, energy consulting, electrical/natural gas contract management
